My Story

Meet Boma! Boma, a 1 year old Basenji mix who loves her playtime. Initially cautious around unfamiliar experiences, she quickly adjusts with a comforting presence by her side. Excellently, she interacts with her fosters 3 and 1-year-old grandsons, demonstrating a friendly demeanor towards other dogs. Initially reserved, Boma gradually becomes more open and affectionate. Her love for cuddles and kisses knows no bounds, though she tends to be mouthy, albeit in a non-aggressive manner. Preferring the indoors, Boma finds her peace and comfort within the home. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue! ----------------------PLEASE READ------------------------------- Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in Utah with stops in - Ogden UT and Brigham City UT. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs. As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
