My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Boots, aka Bootsie, is a true country girl and loves a good pair of boots. It is in a rural neighborhood outside of Tampa that this girl found refuge and a comfy pair of boots to sleep in. Bootsie is an 8week old Shepherd/hound mix,(our best guess) with a whole lotta cuteness and personality. Her coat is a smooth black, white with some dashes of tan and brown on her legs.. This girl must have a smart mommy and daddy because after less than 24hrs at her fosters home, she is already going to the back door to let her know she has to go potty outside. She is not potty trained, just seems to be getting quicker than most pups her age. Bootsie is currently fostered with 2 older, larger dogs and wants so bad for them to play. She found the toybox today, so the house is sprinkled with toys everywhere. She is a solid 8.4lbs and could potentially reach 50plus pounds. Ms.Personality plus is also crate trained, has a hearty appetite and loves to snuggle her human. First set of shots and exam was today 1/17/24. She will be available on Sun 1/21/24. She is a pre-adoption and family must bring to our local rescue vet in Riverview for the remainder of her vetting, Rescue covers puppy shots through rabies and spay, along with microchip. If you are interested in adopting Boots/Bootsie, you must have a fenced in yard. Due to her potential size and puppy teeth, older, more considerate children is required.apply at 4luckydogs.org
