My Story

**CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN RENTON, WA AND READY FOR MEET & GREETS!** Introducing Bowie: Your Playful and Lovable Companion! Looking for a furry friend who's as fun-loving as they come? Meet Bowie, the 9-month-old Pitbull and Staffy mix who's ready to bring love, joy, and laughter into your life! Bowie is the epitome of fun. With his love for people, dogs, and toys, he's always up for a good time. He can entertain himself for hours with his toys, and rope toys are his absolute favorite. Plus, he's great on a leash and adores going on walks and hikes - he's the perfect adventure buddy! See him at the beach here: https://youtu.be/Hqelz8glkRU Bowie is happy, confident, affectionate, and social. He has already had 2 DNA tests done (just to be sure of the results) and he is a brilliant blend of Pittie, Staffy, American Bulldog, and even a dash of Husky! He's currently living in a loving foster home with two other dogs and would love to have a doggy sibling to play with, although he'd also do fine as an only dog. He's never met a person or dog he doesn't like, although his play style with other dogs tends to be a bit rough and rowdy. He's very tolerant of handling and even enjoyed his recent spa day at the groomer! This smart pup thrives on enrichment activities. Whether it's chewing on a frozen Kong, gnawing on bones, or using a snuffle mat to find hidden treats, Bowie is always up for a mental challenge. Bowie is fully potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. He's a pro in his crate and sleeps soundly through the night without making a peep. No signs of separation anxiety! He'll do best in a home with a yard for his zoomies. He's a fan of car rides, although he can get car sick - a little Dramamine does the trick. Although he's still young and has some puppy behaviors to work on, Bowie has excellent potential and is eager to learn. With his charming personality and loving demeanor, he's sure to steal your heart from the moment you meet him. If you're ready to welcome a playful and lovable companion into your life, then Bowie is waiting for you! Come meet this smart boy and get ready for a lifetime of adventures together. Bowie is completely up to date on shots, microchipped & neutered. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
