Brody

Bhodi and Brody are 4 year old dapple dachshund brothers. They came from a breeder who was retiring them. They are sweet as can be but are shy at first. They are typical dachshunds, they love their people and to bark. Sadly, they’ve lived their lives outside used only for breeding so they are not housetrained or leashed trained. Cats are unknown, but seem to be dog friendly with a proper introduction. They will need a fenced yard. They have adjusted very well and are very affectionate. They LOVE toys, something they’ve never known. Bhodi and Brody are HW positive, but the rescue has already started slow kill treatment. These boys deserve a loving home and a patient owner to show them a better life. All applications must be completed in entirety to be considered. Our adoption fee is $495.00 and includes your dog's spay/neuter, UTD vaccines and deworming that are age appropriate, rabies and microchip. Meet and greets are only scheduled with an approved application, and no application will be processed if incomplete. You must fill out an application to help achieve our goal of finding permanent, responsible and loving homes for the animals in our care. Applications are not approved on a first come first served basis, but on which home is best suited for the animal. L.A.R. is a foster based rescue out of Orangeburg County, SC and does not have a physical shelter. We rely solely upon adoption fees and donations to continue our mission to rescuing the abused, abandoned and neglected animals of our communities.
