This tiny, 5 pound fella is Brooklyn, and he's THE cutest thing ever!! He is dog friendly, cat friendly and people friendly. Brooklyn is 12 years old and pretty active for an older guy. He likes to jump right up on the couch all by himself. He prances around happy as can be and loves attention from his human.
Brooklyn has a grade 3/4 heart murmur and is in kidney failure. He can be kept happy and comfortable by an easy regiment of care, if and when needed. A nice hearty diet, Pepcid to keep his belly feeling good enough to keep eating, and sub Q fluids would be good for him anywhere from daily to twice a week. Brooklyn came to us needing a dental and neuter, but we aren't comfortable putting him under anesthesia and doing surgery on him, so we are leaving him as is. We just want Brooklyn to be somewhere comfortable and safe where he can spend time being cared for and loved for as long as he has left on this Earth. We are happy to walk his new person or family through everything and will do all we can to help as well.
