Meet Brutus!!!
Brutus the Beagle found his way to our rescue after his owner developed some medical Issues. He is 1.5 years old, fully vaccinated, started on heartworm prevention, neutered, and microchipped. He is 90% housetrained with no accidents if left out every 2 hours. Brutus weighs about 17 pounds. He uses a crate for sleeping.
As a Beagle, Brutus is driven by scent and FOOD! He seems like he should be easily trainable using food as a reward, and he is very sweet and eager to please. A fenced yard is highly recommended as beagles tend to follow their noses with no regard to where they might be led.
He gets along well with other dogs. He has not had much exposure to kids or cats, but we think he would be good with them.
