Bubby

Meet Bubby! He was found as a stray in June of last year, but his finder is no longer able to care for him. Bubby is about 53# and is a Black and Tab Coonhound, estimated to be about 2 years old. He will soon be neutered and vaccinated. He is crate trained and knows a few basic commands. He does well with the other dog and cat in his current home, but he plays rough. So a secure yard with an energetic fur-sibling would be best for him. Bubby would love to meet you and show you how special he is!! Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. *Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures.
