Bubby Crocket Black and Tan Coonhound New Orleans, LA

Meet Bubby! He was found as a stray in June of last year, but his finder is no longer able to care for him. Bubby is about 53# and is a Black and Tab Coonhound, estimated to be about 2 years old. He is neutered and vaccinated. He is crate trained and knows a few basic commands. He does well with the other dog and cat in his current home, but he plays rough. So a secure yard with an energetic fur-sibling would be best for him. Bubby would love to meet you and show you how special he is!! PLEASE READ BELOW:

An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
