Buddy

Buddy is a neutered male, Vizsla mix who was born sometime in October 2019. He has short, copper fur. He weighed 63.8 pounds on 11-29-2023. He was surrendered by his previous owner. He shows signs of trauma. Buddy came with a rug and we'll send a rug home with him, lol! He prefers his rug to be laid out on the floor. He dislikes it being on his bed. He can be trusted to be alone with squeaky toys; he won't shred them. He won't shred his precious rug either xP He LOVES attention and he'll jump up and give kisses <3 He loves butt scritches and scratches under his collar :) He's recently shown us that he likes to play fetch too! :) He's fully potty trained. We're gone for 11 hours overnight, and Buddy can hold it! Buddy knows his name is Buddy, and we recommend not changing his name. Buddy is a classic name :) Buddy is compatible with children and adults. He does like to jump up to say hi sometimes. He gets excited when some children come visit or volunteer. Buddy wants to make friends with the other dogs in our care. He's very friendly and we think he probably was never socialized with other dogs. We're currently working on that. :) We don't know if he's okay with cats. We haven't experimented with that het. Buddy is currently eating whatever dry dog food is donated to us. We mix it with a little bit of wet dog food. He's up-to-date on his vaccinations, but he does need a booster shot on 12-20-2023. He also had very dirty ears at his first vet appointment, so our vet will recheck his ears on the above date. Buddy is up-to-date on his vaccinations (he'll get a booster shot on 12-20-2023), neutered, up-to-date on his flea and tick preventative, tested negative for heartworm, has been dewormed, is up-to-date on his heartworm preventative, and is microchipped. Buddy's adoption fee is $200 and we accept cash or check. We do not have the ability to accept debit/credit cards.
