Butters

Butters is a tan and white male Cur mix. He is approximately 2 years old and a really big baby. He is a very energetic boy who needs a nice big fenced in yard to run around and get his energy out. Butters does well with people of all ages but please keep in mind that he is a big jumper and can easily knock over small children so it is best for him to go to a home without them. Butters loves his toys and enjoys chewing on them or playing with them. His favorite activity is to run around and play! He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to lay in your lap and be near you to get love. With Butters you will need to watch the door because he has been known to slip past you and escape. He is completely potty trained in the house and will sit in front of you when he needs to go out: however, there might be an adjustment period once he gets into his new home. He knows the cues sit and paw. When Butters is ready for bed he will let you know and wants you to tuck him into to his dog bed with his pillow and blanket. He absolutely loves having a head pillow and won't sleep without it. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday, and 10:30-4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
