Hi! My name is Calvin! My foster mom says I am a sweetheart. I love being touched. I can have these exuberant moments that are just beautiful to watch, but then will switch my mood quickly, and will become very quiet and still when we go back indoors. I am a gentle soul and have an exceptionally gentle mouth. I just love to give and receive affection. No roughhousing or rowdiness here, I am a good boy! My mom says I am as good as gold!!! (You can tell he has been handled with love by his person. It was immediately apparent that he has had some training). I love treats and am very gentle when accepting them. I really like to meet people. I look up at them with my beautiful face and seem to ask, "Is that you? Are you my person?" I happily accept a pat on the head if it is offered. Then my mom and I continue on our walk. I don't like cats, and I have only been in contact with my foster mom's own dog, who has good manners and is mellow. I would do best as being the only pet in the home. I have not met any children yet, but because of my size, small children might not be a perfect fit. Mom says I am definitely getting calmer every single day. I really to want to please her. Might you be my new family? Calvin is part of our Home to Home Program.
