CARMEN is a boy. Do not let the name fool you. He arrived at the shelter at the beginning of March and is estimated to be about 11 months old. He has a beautiful, shiny black short hair coat. Staff has listed him as a mixture of lab and shepherd and weighed 54 pounds at Intake. So, he is technically a large dog, even though he does not look like it when you meet him or see him lying down. He has not yet been neutered, and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
