Hi everyone meet Casper! The first thing everyone says when meeting Casper is what a happy, friendly boy he is! This cute little 45 pound terrier-mix is just full of wiggly joy, and so excited to say hi to everyone he meets. He does the best little happy dance when he’s excited. When he runs, he kicks up his feet in the most adorable little prance. Seriously, it’s the cutest!
Curious, outgoing, and loving, Casper just wants to be a part of the family, no matter what you’re doing. He’s got plenty of energy for playtime and LOVES heading out to the yard for a good romp, but once he’s gotten his energy out, he’s quite the couch potato – his foster family says he loves hanging out indoors more than anything…especially if there’s a stuffed ‘Kong’ for him to lick!
If you like hiking and camping, Casper would absolutely love to join you for those adventures also. A nice long walk followed by a lounge around the firepit would be his idea of an absolutely perfect day – whether that’s up in the mountains or just in your backyard.
Casper’s energy and enthusiasm means he would fit in best with a household that has older children or adults only. This is merely because he might accidentally run into a smaller kid. He walks best with a harness, and looks pretty good in them too – and he sure looks extra cute in a bandana!
Surprisingly, Casper has limited vision, although you would never know if you met him on the street! He does see at least shapes and shadows, but sometimes needs to approach objects pretty closely before he can figure out what they are. With his excellent ears and nose, however, Casper gets around without any problems at all. This does mean that Casper may not be able to see the body language of other dogs very well. For this reason, he would be a great match for a household where he can be the only dog, or with one relaxed pup for company.
There’s one thing Casper wants you to know, too – his shining white coat means that he’s a little prone to sunburn in the summertime, so a quick dollop of sunscreen on his nose before you go out to play keeps him feeling great.
If you’re looking for a little more joy in your life, a waggy tail, and someone who is always happy to see you, Casper might just be your guy. Drop us a line, he’d love to meet you!
Casper house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash. He is located in Snohomish, WA.
Casper is approximately three years old, healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
