My Story

Chance is a 6 Year old, 59 lb Male, Terrier Mix Chance is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Chance. My foster family says I’m a pretty laid back and mellow kind of a pup. In short, I am a good boy! I really enjoy just hanging out with my people. Netflix and chill? I'm there. Crossword puzzles on Sunday morning? I promise to listen while you try to solve the puzzle. Feeling active? Well, I like to walk and I'm pretty good on a leash. I've gone to the beach and been out socializing with my foster family, and I behave myself pretty well (I am a good boy, after all). I'm also good with other dogs, my foster siblings and other doggy pals. I have a few physical scars left over from a rough life on the streets, like my one bad eye that doesn't work anymore, but I don't hold a grudge. I now have many dog buddies, but I have to say I prefer those that are more mellow, like me. I also favor the ladies, haha, but I'm good with male dogs that aren't pushy. Some of the hyperactive or pushy dogs can get on my nerves. But in general I'm a happy guy. I have been around chickens and I liked to chase them, so no chicken friends for me! I live with cats and I leave them alone, even when they are hissy with me. When I'm not playing, I like to nap, and I especially love to burrow under a blanket. If your feet get cold at night, have no fear, I will keep your feet warm and toasty if you let me sleep on the bed. I've been waiting a long time for my forever family, and I'm ready to be someone's best friend! I hope that's you! (Chance is a bit overweight and could probably stand to lose about 10 lbs) Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $350 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation) If interested in learning more, please email us at [email protected] or fill out our online application. https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp If interested in learning more about our adoptable dogs, cats and adoption process, or our foster home program, please contact us at above email.
