Hi my name is Charlie!
I am approximately 3 years old and a long time resident at the rescue.
I have lived at the rescue for almost 2 years now.
I am not a flawless dog and need a specific home!
I am going to outline what my ideal home looks like and if you think you are a candidate, I would love to meet you!!!
1. ) I need a calm and confident owner. I can’t live with somebody who is going to let me be in control as I will be protective of my owner if I feel the need to be. If you show me you’re confident, I will calmly and gladly follow your lead!
2.) I get along with other dogs, however I need a slow proper intro. The rescue is more than willing to facilitate this introduction! I hang out with dogs at the rescue, but it does take me time to get to know new fur friends!
3.) I love affection from my people and I love toys!
4.) I would thrive in a quiet home without lots of strange visitors coming in and out!
