Hi! My name is Chica and I am from Arkansas.
From her foster: Chica is a sweet little girl who loves to curl up in your arms to snuggle on the couch. She is very intelligent and is quick to pick up new commands. She will beg for your attention when she really wants it. We have one resident dog and two resident cats, she is fine with both. She doesn't bother the cats too much and sometimes will be curious about them, but for the most part, she doesn't acknowledge them. She is currently being kenneled during the day while we are at work and during the night sleeps in her own queen bed with a baby gate at the door. We do not know how she is with small children as we do not have any in our home.
Chica has separation anxiety issues and hopefully, this will lessen when she finds her forever home. She can be a little guarded around food (human or dog), but we have learned that she just needs her space from our dog when there is food out.
