My Story

We have WEEKLY transports to the northeast! If you find a pyr you love, you can have him/her home that week or the following! Meet Chloe! Born around August 2017, this little miss weighs in around 70lbs. If you're looking for a chill Pyr who's favorite thing to do is be by her people, then Chloe is for you! She is calm, loving, and very people oriented. She is relentless with asking for pets and smacking you with all the Pyr paws to make sure you don't forget about her. She's fine with other dogs, but is jealous when her fur sibling gets attention so she does her best to box him out and wiggle her way in to get the attention (did we mention she loves people?). All she really wants is to get petted 24/7 with a few walks sprinkled in throughout her day but is generally a medium to low energy dog. She's nearly pyrfect on a leash and has excellent house manners. The only time this girl isn't chill is during a thunderstorm or fireworks, but her pajamas and safe space help keep her calm. She hasn't barked in the house yet, but instead she whines to communicate. We'll admit it works - how can you resist that cute face, the Pyr paw, AND whining? She doesn't pay much attention to cats and is kid approved. Chloe also doesn't need another fur sibling to be happy, just her people. Little Miss Chloe had FHO surgery on her right hip after she was rescued from the shelter to ensure she can walk without pain. She loves to go for walks and can easily go a few miles without issue, however, she is protective of her leg and isn't much for rough housing. She also is still rocking a shaved backside as some of her hair follicles were damaged when they got her ready for her surgery. It should grow back soon and she is still the cutest with her funny haircut. Apply now so you can soak up all these sweet snuggles! Here's what one of our adopters says about our ability to match dogs: - "I am not sure what very real MAGIC you have from across the continent, but I really love it. You have done it again! Another love match!- Thank you for four out of five Pyrenees coming from GPRS and each of them have been perfect for us.… And for each other! One month together and “Lady“is healing and happy. Thank you for all of your very hard work. Keep honing your intuition … it is spot on!" ....Julie P ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206.
