My Story

This practically perfect girl is ready to be your new best friend! Fun, playful, cuddly, sweet, confident, social, happy, well-trained, great with cats, kids, and dogs...what more could you want in a companion?? Chloe Bell Cleveland has been passed over for 4 months, despite being almost perfect. This girl is the whole package, and just waiting for her opportunity to bring joy to her new forever family. We estimate she is about 2 years old, 50 lbs, and possibly a Hound and Staffy mix, but it's rescue so it's just a guess. She's an adorable low-rider with floppy ears and a gorgeous red coat. Chloe loves to be with people, receiving as many pets as possible. She would rather hang out with adults, but she is patient and gentle with kids of all ages. She has the biggest heart and just wants to love you and be loved in return. She meets everyone with a big smile and a wagging tail. Nobody is a stranger to Chloe. This beautiful girl has already mastered crate training, potty training, leash training, and recall training. She’s so smart and she listens so well! She will occasionally still jump up for attention, but she corrects very easily. At potty time she will go outside, do her business, and come right back in. Chloe’s favorite toy is her tennis ball. She is obsessed! She will bat it from side to side with her paws, and then chase it when it gets away. She carries the ball everywhere and she loves a good game of fetch. She has no problem keeping herself entertained with toys. She also loves to play in water! She is dog friendly and loves playing with her doggy foster-siblings. She has a bit of a rough and rowdy play style with other dogs, so would do best with other dogs who love to play a bit rough. Or she could also be an only dog. Chloe passed her cat test with flying colors. She should do great in a home with dog savvy cats. She loves to go on a good walk or car ride. She loads in and out of the car all on her own and rides quietly. Everyone who has met her has become a bit fan of hers. She's just so happy and loving, how can you not love her in return? The ideal home for Chloe will be one where she can go on regular walks, play fetch with a tennis ball, and gets lots of love. She has moderate energy so is not a couch potato, but also not bouncing off the walls. She can live with kids, dogs, and cats...or without. She could easily fit in to just about any home! She would be perfect for taking out in public, going for hikes, road trips, or just playing in the backyard. Don’t miss out on this sweet, loving, cuddly, smart, and well-mannered girl! She’s microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, and ready to transport to her forever home now! Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dogs needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan Coupons for a fun visit to Petco Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
