Chocolate Thunder

Sex: Male Breed: Pitbull x Estimated Date of Birth : 01/02/2014 The sweetest old man, our very own Chocolate Thunder, is so incredibly thankful for the simple things in life. Simple things his former family, whoever they are, never gave him. He just wants to be part of a family and he's not even picky about who that family is. He loves humans large and small, young and old. He's fantastic with other dogs of all sizes. He literally doesn't care so long as he can be a part of something. He knows all about inside things like the soft comfy couches and the wonderfulness that comes out of kitchens. He's so in tune to family life it makes us wonder why his family never came for him. He was found alone and wandering in a neighborhood by a Good Samaritan. This sweet old boy stayed by their house after they fed him. Probably hoping they found be his new family. He was super stinky, suffering from multiple skin infections and lesions and seemed to be totally deaf. How he didn't get hit by a car with his lack of hearing we'll never know. We're so thankful he was able to stay safe and so thankful to the Good Samaritans who helped him as best they could. He's safe now with us and enjoying everything good and simple rescue had to offer. Unlimited scratches, yummy food, soft warm spaces and yes even his medicated baths are wonderful to him. He's so incredibly kind and has been amazing with every dog and human he's met. He's a lucky boy and we are so lucky to be part of his journey. We're getting his skin issues under control and hoping to get his weight down a bit and then this sweet old man will be ready to have a family of his very own. That's the thing he wants the most and we know we can find him perfect humans who will never abandon him again.
