Meet Chop. This 6 year old fella is an all around great dog. He's a happy, friendly, I'myournewbestfriend/let's play! eager male ready for his new home.
We got Chop into a foster home right before New Year's. He'd been living outside for a while and thankfully we got him into a warm home with a bed inside just before the recent cold snap. He's been gaining weight with regular meals, and a vet check and updated vaccines showed he's a healthy boy. He's mostly house trained, and getting better and better about not marking inside (he's wearing a belly band for now).
He's been around children and does well with them and is friendly to all he meets (good at the vet too!). He's super playful and loves to chase the ball. He's good with the other dogs in the foster home - a female Border Collie who's the boss, and another male Rottweiler. He's also been around cats some (may chase them, but doesn't want to eat them - a slow introduction would be best). While he has a little basic obedience, he would thrive in dog classes and is ready to become someone's best boy. This boy is a lovely dog and his adopter will get lucky.
