Meet Claudia aka Karen aka Granny! ?? Why so many names, right? Well as you get to know her, you discover she has a very funny personality for sure. Claudia was pulled from Memphis shelter on the brink of euthanasia and we couldn't let an old lady who's probably never known love or life go out like that. She deserved a chance. It was an age not an expiration date. We had a rough start with her. She had severe periodontal and secondary skin infections. We had a dental surgery and lost most our teeth. It adds character though. She's also have been back and forth about her skin until we finally figured it out. She's all treated and on a schedule. This is where we got to know our true Claudia and who she was now that she feels like herself. Claudia is not above arguing with you, she loves to ask for the manager should things not go her way. She just loves to talk. ? Her activities include seeking out food(girl has to keep her figure), complaining, and her required beauty sleep after giving you the talking to she feels you deserve for whatever betrayal. Granny is 12 years old. We know she's not everyone's first pick. But what a shame though. Now due to her age she has some requirements, like her meds. She will need her thyroid meds and apoquel for her severe allergies(which her fur is growing back now). She has very few teeth left, partially blind and cauliflower ear. Other than that...she's perfect though. But please don't ask if she's a barker bc well she didn't get the nickname Karen for no reason. She may be old and have her quirks but she's the sweetest, should i say cutest little oldie. ? Claudia still deserves an everafter! She is utd on vaccines, preventions flea/tick/heartworm, spayed, and microchipped. She will come with a final vet check and can be transported for approved adopters.
