PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION Meet Cooper! Cooper is a spunky 2 year old mixed breed ready for his forever home! Cooper was found abandoned on the streets of Cleveland, TX like many other dogs that come into our program. Cooper is one of the lucky ones that we were able to rescue from the brutal streets before it was too late. Despite having to fend for himself to survive, Cooper is a happy and very friendly guy. He would love an active family and a fenced in yard to keep up with his energy. Cooper is also a smart guy, and would be happiest with a regular job or mental stimulation. He is getting used to household life with his foster and has quickly picked up crate training, but his adopter should be willing to polish up his basic house manners and training. He has been friendly with kids and other dogs, we aren't sure about cats yet, but would be happy to cat test him for potential adopters. He is currently being fostered in Texas, but can make his way to Iowa on one of the upcoming transports. Cooper is neutered, current on vaccinations, monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
