Meet Cowboy-
Look at this handsome guy! Cowboy is a curious, playful, sweet dog! He is a loving, gentle soul who loves being the center of attention. Cowboy is very friendly when meeting new people out and about on walks, although due to his heartworm treatment and recovery he hasn't been exposed to a lot of people. He can also be shy and nervous when new folks enter his home (and may be more nervous around some men). He just needs some treats to warm up to new people, and a calm environment. Cowboy would enjoy being an only dog and getting all of the attention from his humans. Cowboy loves to be with his people all day long, and is a great work-from home companion, content to curl up in a dog bed or big chair and nap the day away. He loves to cuddle on the couch with his people, chew on bones and chews, and shred squeaky toys in record time! He also loves going on walks, but needs leash training. Cowboy loves to snuggle and cuddle - he is a lap dog. He loves exploring outside and going on lots of sniff walks. Cowboy is also a food aficionado: he LOVES treats, meals, and is very food-motivated (and wants to please)- which will make training fun! Cowboy knows how to sit and knows to go to the crate for breakfast, dinner, and at bedtime!
There's something special about Cowboy that's hard to describe - an innocence and love he exudes even when he's being a goofy, mischievous guy. He has the biggest heart and all of the love to give.
