DANIEL is a 6-year-old purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is looking for a home with a savvy CKC fancier who will not be surprised to learn that he has a heart murmur (soooo many CKCs do) or that twice-daily applications of eye ointment are necessary to keep his peepers healthy. Both of those issues are standard fare for this sweet and beloved breed, but Daniel also came to us so overweight that he could barely walk, and it has taken months and months to get him down from 34 lbs. to his current trim weight of 19 lbs. (for a CKC, he's a big boy). His weight loss program is finally at an end, and his ideal weight will be maintained as long as he isn't overfed again in the future. (He can't open the refrigerator or order pizza). Of course he has been neutered and vaccinated, and he is free of parasites and on heartworm preventative.
