Diamond (chocolate color) and Precious (creme) are female chihuahuas that weigh about 6.5-7lbs each. They are mother and daughter according to the owner that turned them in. They are beautiful girls that have been struggling for a while in not such a great home. They both came in with terrible skin issues, very skinny and just generally not care for. Diamond the mother is 7 yrs old and is outgoing and loves everyone. She has great house manners and is very quiet. She loves being held and given attention. Precious her daughter is 2yrs old and is very shy and nervous. She does whatever Diamond does, she follows her around everywhere and is very attached. Precious has started coming out of her shell and asking for her foster mom to hold her on the couch at night even if her mom is not up there. I believe it will just take time for Precious to trust a human so that she will no longer "need" her mom so much. Both are super sweet, never growled and shown teeth for anything. They will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm free prior to adoption. We are hoping to place them together since Precious is so reliant on her mom for courage.
