Drake

Drake is a handsome lad all decked out in black which is becoming of him! He is approx 2 years old and loves to run and play with his foster siblings. He will play with his doggie toys all day long and has such a great time. See the video below:) Drake is learning to walk on a leash and is learning his house manners. He is crate-trained and rides well in the car. We are not sure of his breed, but Dutch Sheperd and Australian Kelpie seem fitting. He gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions. Go ahead and apply to adopt this sweet boy! He would love to be running/walking/jogging the trails this Spring with his new family or snuggling on the couch would suit him fine. Drake is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
