Meet Duke, a charming and spirited black Lab in search of his forever home. At 1-2 years old and weighing 70 lbs., Duke's sleek black coat, bright eyes and sweet disposition are sure to capture your heart. Duke is intelligent, house-trained, and keen to secure his place in your family. He's a sociable and affectionate companion who will thrive in an environment with an active family. Duke would do well in a home where someone is home most of the time, as he does have separation anxiety. He's been neutered and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He's a fast learner, loves to go for car rides, and loves to be close to his people. Duke is full of promise; he enjoys playing with other dogs at his foster home and also appreciates relaxing and lounging in the sun. Duke loves walks and does well on a leash but would benefit from some obedience lessons. Currently fostered in the West Suburbs of Chicago, Duke is eagerly waiting to find a loving home where he can share his abundant love and joy.
