Meet Eleanor
Eleanor is an adorable golden retriever mix puppy who will make a wonderful family dog. Her parents are both 65 pounds and are gorgeous, super calm and chill. Eleanor has more wiry hair and is the smallest in the litter, she will likely not be as big as her parents.
Eleanor is a quiet girl, not at all a barker and doing very well with potty training. As long as she goes out regularly, she has had no accidents in the house.
The parents were dumped in a rural part of Mississippi just days before the mom gave birth. Wags took in the puppies and they have thrived in their foster home, romping and playing together.
Eleanor loves to play with other dogs and then snuggle up with them for a power puppy nap! She loves toys and bones and balls.
Eleanor arrived in the northeast in mid March, she is doing great adapting to her foster home, she just settled in immediately and is such a friendly and easy going puppy.
Wags will require a contract with adopters to spay and neuter them, we use a low-cost clinic and you can either use ours and we will pay for it or we will reimburse you what we pay if you use your own vet.
We are asking for a $1600 donation which includes the cost of the spay/neuter, the vaccines and the transport from Mississippi.
Wags is a struggling nonprofit in a rural part of Mississippi, we have 150 dogs and their needs and expenses are huge. Your donation is fully tax deductible
Like any puppy Eleanor need an owner who will give her the training they need to grow up to be the very good girl we know she can be.
