Ella Lucy (AL)

Ella Lucy is a beautiful 3 year old Redtick girl waiting in southeast Tennessee for her forever home after being thrown out of a car on a cold winter day and left to fend for herself. Luckily, Ella Lucy is now in a wonderful foster home. She is great with other dogs of all sizes, and is learning to enjoy the pleasures of being a house hound! She lines up with the other dogs in the foster home for bedtime treats, and takes full advantage of opportunities to be petted and get back scratches and ear rubs by adults and children in the home. Ella Lucy is petite at 45 lbs and is cratetrained; she rests quietly in her crate when her humans are away at work, but has free run of the house otherwise. She also rides well in a car. Ella Lucy loves going on daily walks so she can take in all of the great smells, meet new people, and spend time with her foster family. In typical hound fashion, she doesn't really like to play with toys, but might try to remove the squeaker from a fluffy toy. She has not challenged the 5' fence and plays very well with her Lab brother. Ella Lucy is very smart and has quickly learned certain behaviors with the help of a training collar set only to beep. She is not cat tested.
