Meet Ellie! She is a young pit bull, weighing in at just 38lbs - The vet said she’s pretty close to full grown. Ellie is the sweetest little diva! She loves to sleep by the fireplace and snuggle her humans. While in foster care, Ellie did great with her foster brother who is quite a bit bigger than her. Once she’s comfortable she likes to play a little bit but cuddles and attention are her top priority. She’s learned to sit and lay down, and she is starting to understand that her crate is a good and safe place to nap. Ellie has a very gentle nature and is pretty calm except for when foster mom first gets home from work. She will bark when her foster brother does but doesn’t bark excessively whatsoever. Ellie doesn’t like the cold or the rain and sometimes uses the potty pads by the door. She will need some time and someone patient and willing to work with her on house training. She would do best in a home with a fenced and secure yard. She can jump a 4ft fence and find space underneath as well. She hasn’t had any experience with cats or kiddos, but given her sweet nature she’d likely be just fine.
