My Story

We have WEEKLY transports to the northeast! If you find a pyr you love, you can have him/her home that week or the following! Estelle's early days were marked by confinement and overcrowding, as she shared her space with numerous other dogs. Despite the challenges, she retained her gentle demeanor, offering a glimpse of the loving heart that lay beneath her anxious exterior. Rescued from her bleak past, Estelle's transformation was remarkable. Her once-anxious eyes began to sparkle with hope when she was brought out of the filth and into rescue-a gentle giant who had endured much yet harbored no bitterness. Estelle's most endearing quality is her unwavering affection for humans. While she retains a hint of anxiety, it is overshadowed by her desire to connect and bond. She revels in the warmth of human touch, leaning in for cuddles, and relishing every moment spent in the company of her newfound friends. One of Estelle's unique traits is her penchant for conversation. While she can't speak words, her expressive eyes and soft whimpers tell stories of her journey, her hopes, and her gratitude. She engages in a delightful back-and-forth exchange with those around her, forging connections that go beyond words. Estelle's love for her human companions is profound, but she is also a master of balancing her affection with a dash of independence. She cherishes being close to her people, but she is not clingy like velcro. She respects the space of those around her and is content to share in the simple joys of companionship without overwhelming anyone. As Estelle continues to grow and thrive in her new environment, her anxiety slowly waning. The consistent presence of caring humans and the warmth of their companionship will play a pivotal role in helping her heal from her past traumas. With every day that passes, her trust in humanity deepens. Here's what one of our adopters says about our ability to match dogs: - "I am not sure what very real MAGIC you have from across the continent, but I really love it. You have done it again! Another love match! - Thank you for four out of five Pyrenees coming from GPRS and each of them have been perfect for us.… And for each other! - One month together and “Lady“is healing and happy. Thank you for all of your very hard work. Keep honing your intuition … it is spot on!" ....Julie P ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206.
