Hello, my name is Felix, and I'm a sweet little guy with a shy streak. I was rescued as a teeny-weeny puppy and I grew up with other dogs and with some very nice ladies who really loved on me. I'm pretty shy with men and they make me quite nervous, but since I'm good with dogs, it would really help me if there was a friendly pup around that could be my "mentor." Dogs are the very best teachers! I have a lot of fun playing with other dogs, I'm fast and I like to romp around, wrestle, or take a nice nap with my buddies. I've been around cats and I'm okay with them, but I prefer to hang with my doggy friends. I am potty trained so I just need to know where the backyard is, or to alert when I need to go take care of business. I really like chewy toys, it's so much fun to chew on them or toss them around. I confess I also feel very nervous around small children, so I would prefer a home with older, gentle kids. I would be happiest in a quiet home so I don't get stressed. I am a sweetie, and I really want to be able to get to know people and relax, but I need a little time and patience. Are you a patient person that can spend time getting to know me and socialize me a little? I hope so! I'm so very anxious to find a home where I can cuddle on the couch, run around the yard or nap in a warm, sunny spot. I will be very devoted to my people once I get to know them. You know that old saying "Still waters run deep"? Well, this doggy has a big heart full of love to give to the right person who can be patient and loving with a shy little guy. I hope that's you.

Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $200 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, microchip and transportation costs.
