My Story
#Loving, #Playful & the biggest #Flirt that you'll ever meet, Ladies & Gentlemen say hello to #Frankie. She's a 3 year old #GreatDane & #AmericanBulldog mix who weighs in at 70lbs. Simply put, all this stunning baby girl wants in life is to be told that she's a pretty girl, give everyone lots of love and to be loved. Do you think Frankie could be your #Valentine this year?
Frankie would be the perfect family dog, as she loves kids, other dogs and even cats. She simply craves human companionship with her hoomans and is most confident when it comes to being around other dogs. Some of her hobbies are going on her daily walks, wrestling with her foster brothers and sisters in the backyard, cuddling up with her humans, being told she's a pretty girl, trying yummy foods, doing zoomies around the backyard and making new friends around downtown Ferndale.
Frankie had a rough start in life and was running around a demo lot in Detroit for months on end. Thankfully our rescue family was able to trap her and get her into rescue. She was sadly diagnosed with advanced heartworm. Now that Frankie has finally finished her heartworm treatment, she's up for adoption and ready for her forever home.
Frankie is 95% potty trained (it was hard for her to hold her bladder while on the steroids for her treatment), 100% crate trained, knows all of her basic commands and does phenomenal on a leash. As we said above, Frankie does phenomenal with all other dogs (Large and small), Kids of all ages & even cats. Frankie loves to play with her 4 year old best friend Maddie.
***Adoption Requirements: No Exceptions***

Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue; previously known as Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue, is an independent, 100% foster-based animal rescue located in Ferndale, Michigan. Our mission is to play an active role throughout our community by 'Lending A Helping Hand' to animals that were either abandoned, in shelters, unwanted, homeless, chained outdoors, or victims of prior abuse and/or neglect. Our rescue family has accomplished this by setting up each animal and their new families up for success by educating and consulting pet parents about what's in the best interest of their pets overall well-being, and creating an awareness in our community about the vital importance of fully vetting and spaying or neutering their pets.
