This petite lady is an absolute sweetheart. She greets everyone she meets with a butt wiggle and kisses. Freya walks well on a leash on her harness and rode great in the car. She is potty trained and uses a button to alert that she needs to go outside. 90% of the time she goes potty, the other 10% she is checking up on the resident squirrels. LOL We're working on crate training as she is showing signs of separation anxiety when left alone. She loves to be with people! Freya may be small, but her energy is big. A fenced in yard is ideal, she's a runner! She did very well meeting my 12 year old child. But I do think she's a bit too puppy for smaller children, she still mouths the hands when playing. On the plus side, she was easily corrected and immediately stopped when I gave her a toy in place. Her first night went well. No night time potty break needed. More updates to come as we get to know this sweet girl! 03/17/24-Freya is a beautiful spayed & up to date 15 month old boxer owner surrender from a very loving home. They got her from another owner in November but then had unexpected personal issues & sadly could not take Freya with her. Owner said she loves snow & ice. Needs aggressive chew toys only, will swallow stuffed animals. Great temperament, knows basic commands. Typical boxer energy, favorite games are tug of war & fetch. Needs fenced yard if off leash as she is a runner Also said she needs to use a harness when walking or she will slip her collar to go for an unplanned run. Lol She is doing great on Victor chicken & rice dog food & only human grade treats, no human food as it causes pancreatitis. Owner also said Freya is very quiet in the house. She works from home so she says it’s awesome she doesn’t have to worry about Freya barking when she’s in a call. She laughed saying she definitely doesn’t protect the house. Lol
