***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME***
Meet FROTO!!!
Currently in Wendell Animal Shelter, Idaho
This sweet, gorgeous, healthy, long-legged 2 to 3-year-old unaltered boy needs a foster or forever home.
He was found stray as a skinny, skinny pup on 2/6/24 caked in mud and obviously had been on his own for some time. He appears to be a mix of several breeds including terrier, poodle, hound, or even airdale.
FROTO is friendly with adults and kids. He is good with other dogs, inquisitive and shy at first and doesn’t get overly rambunctious.
He has not shown any reactive behaviors at all. He hasn’t been around cats yet.
FROTO still eats like a stray where he just inhales his food, so shelter staff are working on that.
FROTO has a healthy appetite. He keeps a clean kennel. He has found his voice in letting shelter staff know that he needs attention or food (mostly for food).
FROTO is still a puppy, so shelter staff are working on manners. He came into the shelter jumping on people, but his energy level has calmed. He does not like mops, brooms, or anything that resembles them. He barks during kennel cleaning because he thinks that the water hose is attacking staff.
FROTO is showing himself to be a clingy boy, following staff everywhere.
