Meet Gemma!
Cutie patootie Gemma is a pint size ball of energy! She looks mostly ACD, but could maybe have something littler like Toy Fox Terrier in there, but of course breed is just a guess! She is definitely cattle dog in her energy level and attitude. She is just about 1 year old, and is the sweetest girl. She absolutely loves people and attention!
Gemma loves to play, play, play, and is a busy bee when she is awake. She loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, and will definitely grab an ankle or two true to her herding breed instincts. She is a good girl and will choose her toys and bones over household items most of the time to play with.
She has a good recall and loves to be outside and do farm chores with her foster family, however she thinks chickens look a little too tasty so she should not live with chickens. Though she is friendly with everyone, she may be a bit much for young kids due to her energy level and need for speed.
She is crate trained although not the biggest fan, and housebroken. She would love to sleep in the big bed with you!
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on heart worm and flea prevention! Our adoption fee is $350. She will be ready to go home mid/late February after her vetting is completed.
BACDR does require that all adopters take their new dog/puppy to a positive based puppy/basic obedience class after adoption.
Gemma is being fostered near Medina, Ohio, please email us at [email protected] for an application!
