Sweeeeet Gigi is in the house!! Well, it is our pleasure of course, she is just the sweetest little guest we have had in just a bit. She certainly has every right to have an attitude, life has not been that easy for Gigi. She had been at a shelter previously for temporary care while her owner received medical treatment. She was returned, and when things for her person were not going well, she was finally released to find a bight future of her own.
Gigi was in pretty rough shape, we get it, the person was not up to taking care of her as surely she had wanted. So, when Gigi arrived we had to trim her hair down and give her a nice, warm, soothing bubble bath. And yes, darling, she loved every moment of it. Even while grooming her, Gigi was giving me gentle kisses!!! Gigi loves the spa, bring it on! With her new spring bod, and a sassy little sweater she found a new spring in her step...and just in time for spring!!
Yes, Gigi is 11 years old, but don't let that fool you. She is spunky, playful and even made a new best pal! Of all dogs, she and feisty little Pickles the Rat Terrier mix have hit if off, they are best buds! They are an unlikely pair, but for now, they are enjoying their time together. Gigi does like to play(not as much as he does), enjoys exploring the yard and is very much the lady. She is housebroken, quiet, very, very well behaved and very much a little lady.
Gigi does have a couple teeth that will be removed at no cost to the adopter, even a pick up and drop off service will be available in the event she is adopted before she gets in for her dental, as long as she is in the Chicago area. Gigi is looking for a loving home, perhaps a nice little patio to keep an eye on the birds, and perhaps a person or two to go for some leisurely walks. Her adoption fee is $150.
