Strangers: good Training Needs: all commands Crate Trained: no Potty Trained : yes Activity Preferences: low Describe the ideal furever home for your foster: low energy, no stairs. No signs of separation anxiety, but that might be because there’s another dog here. When the humans come home, he is stuck to them like glue. Cute things your foster does that could be endearing or a personality point that would make people want to meet him/her: big, beautiful eyes, Goliath is an old soul who just wants to sit by the fire and eat snacks. We haven’t seen a lot of playfulness yet, but when he’s having a good day, he’ll engage with a branch from the tree for a little tug-of-war, or gentle wrestling on the floor. If his pain is resolved/ better controlled, I think he’d come out of his shell even more. She/He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will adoptions out of state or outside of our 1 hour or 40 mile restriction.
