Goofy - Urgent

Meet Goofy! This precious boy found himself in an overcrowded kill shelter in TN, through no fault of his own. Our rescue group stepped in and he has in foster care - but needs a family of his own! Goofy is a total lovebug and gets along well with adults, kids, and other dogs! He is a gentle pup and very eager to please. He is approximately 9 months old, weighs in at 28 lbs. His foster reports: "GOOFY loves to sit in your lap and lots of attention. He loves to play fetch and tennis balls. He loves bones rawhide free, peanut butter all natural no xylitol in the ingredients. He loves to play in the pool and doesn’t mind a bath as long as the hose is turned off. I accidentally set it off when I dropped the hose???? scared the little fella to death! He doesn’t seem nervous though. He’s just happy go lucky. I love that! He seems potty trained because he barks when he wants out of his kennel and he goes. Very smart, knows sit. Goofy loves to ride and look out the window. He does very well in the car. Loves butt scratches and belly rubs!!! He’s very verbal. He will let you know when he needs something! He is a little rough on the leash, but will stop briefly when corrected. He’s a puppy so that’s expected. We are working on that one. He loves people! He still gets excited when he meets people and jumps on them playfully. We are working on that too. He does respond well once he figures out he’s gonna get a treat ? He’s a little dog with a huge bark and a biggo heart. We love him so much. He’s perfect! He is very high energy too."
