My Story

Introducing Grandpa Joe, the 3-year-old, 15-pound terrier mix whose sweet personality outshines his grumpy appearance. This lovable character has a penchant for food and enjoys quiet explorations in the yard, especially under the sun. Living an unbothered life, Grandpa Joe is a laid-back pup, proficient in both potty training and leash walking. While he's thrilled to tag along with his people, Grandpa Joe would thrive best in a single-dog household or one with another calm canine companion. Ready to bring his unique charm and affectionate nature, he eagerly awaits a loving family that appreciates his delightful quirks. Grandpa Joe is heartworm positive but this is a treatable disease and treatment is covered by the rescue. His adopter must be able to take him to Angel's Pet Hospital in Tomball, Stone Ridge Vet in Conroe or Willis, or 610 Pet Lodge in Houston for treatment. Heartworm treatment consists of a series of 3 injections, given one month apart. He would need to be kept in a calm environment during her treatment. Adoption fee is: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
