Harland Redbone Coonhound O'Fallon, MO

Harland is a handsome 2-3 year old, 55 pound (but working to get to a healthier weight of about 70 lbs), redbone coonhound who was rescued and was living at a shelter for several months before coming to us. This sweet boy has been treated for heartworm disease and is now 100% recovered, on regular heartworm prevention, and ready to find his forever family! He loves human affection and love his treats and looking for a warm bed to nap in between playtime and walks. He is fantastic in the car and would love someone to go on adventures with. He loves all people he has met and loves meeting new human friends. He is okay with female dogs and submissive dogs, but would be totally okay as on only dog. He is such a smart boy, has been working on his basic manners, and has been doing so well!

Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation.

All SOAR dogs go through a ten-day quarantine period to ensure they are healthy, before being adopted. We do not operate on a first come first serve basis, but screen applicants in order to find the best fit for our adoptable dogs.
