My Story

Meet adoptable Harvey!<3 Harvey was found as a stray in Haywood County. It is presumed he was dumped there by his previous owners as he was located at a set of dumpers which he was unwilling to leave initially. This is a smart pup who was apparently owned by someone prior to being found, but now that his stray hold is up, he is looking for a new forever family! Harvey is a medium sized dog who would look fantastic on your couch! He is very outgoing and friendly with everyone he meets, and would do great in a big family or in a home that often has friends/family visiting. Harvey is an absolute charmer, and is so easy for anyone to love! Besides his handsome looks, he is an intelligent fella who already knows how to "sit" and "shake"! We think he would love to expand his mind and learn new tricks if his new family is willing to teach him! Harvey would be a good fit in a home with children or elderly as his energy level is pretty low. He does get along great with other dogs from what we've seen at the shelter, and would compliment an existing family dog very well with his good looks and big brain! Harvey weighs 33 pounds at this time and may grow to be around 40 pounds as an adult, but we believe will stay medium in size. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and is heartworm negative!
