My Story
The game is afoot and I must be on my way! The search for the truth never ends! Greetings, I am Holmes, a 25 pound, 4 month old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix of the famed duo Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Like my esteemed namesake, I possess a keen intellect, a sharp wit, and a deep sense of curiosity about the mysteries that surround me. Currently, I am engrossed in the art of learning house, crate, and leash training and I am making daily progress at mastering these new skills. You will be pleased to learn that I am quite an amiable soul, getting along with other dogs, cats, and even the little humans known as children. However, in my enthusiasm and zest for life, I must confess that I may occasionally knock over the smallest members of the household. I am on the hunt for a home that is equipped with a fenced yard so that I may continue my explorations. More importantly, I seek a family committed to providing me with the unconditional love, guidance, and training that will shape me into the best dog I can be. "Education never ends" as you will often hear me say. Together we are poised to solve the mysteries we encounter and I will be your faithful companion.
**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**
**Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.**
