Sweet Izzy needs a family!
This precious girl found herself at a crowded TN shelter a few months ago and our rescue pulled her into foster. That situation was temporary and she unfortunately has been in boarding for several months.
Izzy is a wonderful dog. She is just over 1 yr old, weighs 42 lbs and is just super sweet, very loving and friendly! She loves to chase toys, play fetch and run around. She is such a sweetie, she meets everyone in a friendly way.
A volunteer has been taking her on day trips and here are a few things he noticed: Izzy rides great in the car/very calm and relaxed, he easily meets new people when on walks, she approached other dogs and was able to socialize with them on her day trips, she loves toys and will entertain herself.
Izzy is very smart and responds well to basic corrections when on leash etc.
She would benefit from being in a home with a soft bed and a routine.
