Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler Mix Hello! My name is Jace and they say I'm an ACE! Not sure what that means, but I THINK it means I'm special. I'm pretty sure I have a rather high doggie IQ because I catch on to things very easily. I watch the humans very closely, and try to figure out what they want me to do. I've learned some of the things they want, and am hoping there will be some person I can call my own, who will teach me many other things. I've been sad because my old person died. Me and my buddy, Tobias, were left in the house with him for a long time and it seemed like nobody would ever come and help us. We grieved for our human, and were scared nobody would come. But they finally did. Then we went to a very loud and crazy shelter and had to stay in a super small kennel that mostly was dirty and we hated that. Finally, someone else came and got us and now we're at a better place with nice folks who say they are going to help us get a new family to love. Oh, I'm hoping for that day!!! I am a good boy - I promise. I get along with dogs, and want to please my people. I was house trained when I lived with my person, and so I'm pretty sure I can be good about that. I LOVE treats and can catch them in the air! I know how to sit and stay. I love going for walks, and just hanging out with people inside. Oh, to have my own soft, comfy bed and a nice person to call mine again - I hope it is not just a dream. I am 3 y/o and 55 lbs. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and stuff so you won't have to do any of that. Please pick me.
