My Story

Meet Jewel!! 1 years old German Shepherd/Husky Mix Spayed Female Heart worm Negative Up to date on ALL appropriate vaccines including Rabies. Dog friendly Cats unknown Jewel is a young adult, very sweet, she would make a great walking/Jogging companion. She spent a lot of time at the pound before coming to us. Jewel absolutely loves being outside more than being inside. She spends a lot of time in the back yard at her fosters house. She is kennel trained and is quiet in a kennel through the night. The Adoption Fee is $150 We are in Houston Texas, However we are capable of sending our rescue dogs to other areas in Texas and other US states! Travel with a USDA Health Certificate to most US cities is available for an additional $300 fee. (Fees for transporting dogs within Texas can be up to $150) Our dogs over 6 months of age have been vaccinated, dewormed spay/neutered and microchipped! In rare circumstances, a dog may not be spayed/neutered for health reasons. In this case, it will be clearly explained to the adopters and proper care will be understood by adopters. Puppies too young for spay/neuter at the time of adoption will be required to be spay/neutered at 6 months at the adopter's expense. The microchip will be transferred to adopter at this time. The adoption fee for this pet will enable us to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Many of our rescue dogs have high medical expenses. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals as possible out of south Texas, where there is a severe pet overpopulation crisis. We are an animal welfare organization and we do our best to estimate the breed & age based on our experience and research. We do not guarantee the age, breed and/or size expectation of the puppy in our Petfinder ads. Our goal is to save as many pets as possible and find them loving homes.
