Hi there! I'm JiJi, and I'm joyful! I love humans! I love dogs! I love toys! I love treats! I love looking out the window at my wonderful world! And I love to talk to everyone I meet and comment on everything I see! That probably means I wouldn't be popular in an apartment building, whatever that is, and I really do want to be popular. Do you have a yard I could run around in? And maybe another dog to run with? That would be so cool.
My house manners are pretty good, if I do say so myself. I'm willing to spend time in my crate (as long as I can also spend plenty of time with you). And I'll come whenever you call me. In fact, I'll follow you everywhere and tell you all about my day! I've been working on other skills, too, like sitting and waiting and walking on a leash. I'd love to go with you to a class where we could practice those skills-and even more!- together. I aim to please!
I haven't been around cats really, but would probably be okay with them. Kids are fine too but I do take my treats with a lot of passion and may nip fingers in the process, so I'm told you should keep that in mind. And finally, I'm 99% housebroken - no one's perfect.

By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). We've been tested for heartworm and other tick-borne diseases (4DX), and we've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!
