JOKER is a 1-year-old, male mixed breed who weighs 42 lbs. He came to us as a shelter stray where we chose him for his temperament. He's outgoing and very accepting of any person. It might not be apparent by his pictures, but he's also got a beautiful red, tiger stripe brindle coat.
First, a note about his name - JOKER. For the camera, he's so posed and serious. But believe us, he's anything but this. He is forever playful and happy.
A great place for a young dog without manners, is our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Nothing like a crash course on obedience and composure! But there are additional benefits. Joker is getting the exercise a young dog needs. He's getting plenty of other canine interaction with the other young dogs in there. And finally, he has his own human for constant attention and guidance.
Joker has a short attention span (it's his age), so in between training sessions, JOKER gets to go to the dog yard to see who can run the fastest circles! He has a very lithe and agile build and he can ZOOM! In short order, he'll be ready for a family of his own! His perfect home will be active and have a good fenced-in yard, kids to play with, and, ideally, another young dog.
