Meet Jolene
Meet Jolene, a 1.5-year-old lab mix. Jolene spent her first year running loose on her own, which has taught her the value of company. She loves people, playing, and other dogs. She is a staff favorite at the adoption events, despite the struggle to get a picture because of her happy squirming and tippy-tappies!
As she’s younger, she will need training on her manners/commands, but she’s a sweet, kind, and smart dog. She is great on walks and even took one of our volunteers on a slow, winding tour through the BHS building to quietly sniff things.
She can be an escape artist so she will need to be leashed. She wants to explore and follow her nose! Jolene has a typical puppy brain that needs a job to keep her busy.
The foster doesn't trust her alone with cats yet as she will chase them outside when tied up but not when she is indoors with them.
We know the right home is out there for someone who loves labs and is willing to commit to her training!
