June is currently a foster who was rescued off the euthanasia list at the local shelter. She had been in the shelter for over 150 days. June has been living in her foster home for about three months now and has adjusted nicely to in-home living. June is estimated to be about one year old and has puppy energy and curiosity. June is potty-trained, enjoys playing with her foster brothers and going on walks. She is extremely loyal and loves to follow the people in the house around. She is food motivated but not protective or defensive of her food. June doesn't have a mean bone in her body! All she wants is to be loved and safe.
June would do well in a home with another dog and with owners who spend most of their time at home. June does not like being crated or left alone for long periods of time. June has been proscribed anxiety medication to help with her separation anxiety. June feels most comfortable in her house with people and animals she knows. June is very timid and shy around new people and in new places. When June is comfortable she is a funny, loving, and loyal companion!
June has met some stray cats and does not chase/hunt them so she will likely be OK with cats.
